Privacy Policy

In brief

Majevor works on your phone first. You choose your level of privacy:

• Local (default) — understanding happens on-device, nothing leaves.
• Cloud (optional, you activate it yourself) — for more power and German / English support, the phrase you dictate is sent to Infomaniak (Swiss cloud). The rest of your data never leaves.

If you purchase a paid plan, a technical device identifier (not linked to your name) is used to apply your quota and subscription. This is the only piece of data about you stored outside your phone.

2. What ALWAYS stays on your phone

Regardless of the mode, the following never leave your device:

• your memories, notes, and memos, shopping lists, important dates, local learning;
• the vault (codes and passwords), encrypted in the security chip (Secure Enclave) and protected by Face ID / Touch ID / passcode;
• your contacts, your calendar, your photos, your saved locations.

None of this is ever sent to Sevy Créations or any third party.

3. Cloud mode (optional, disabled by default)

If — and only if — you enable cloud mode in the settings:

• What is sent: the dictated phrase to be understood, and a small lexicon of your frequent words (to understand you better).
• To whom: Infomaniak, a Swiss hosting provider, via the publisher's server.
• How: encrypted connection (HTTPS / TLS).
• Purpose: to understand your request and turn it into an action.
• Retention: the phrase is processed to produce the response; it is not stored long-term nor linked to your identity.
• What is NEVER sent, even in cloud mode: your memory database, the vault, your contacts, your calendar, your photos.

4. Purchases and quota (Apple, RevenueCat, publisher's server)

To manage paid plans and cloud request quotas:

• A technical device identifier (generated automatically, not linked to your name, email, or Apple account) is used to recognize your device and apply your quota and any subscription. This is pseudonymous data, not anonymous.
• RevenueCat, Inc. (United States) processes this identifier, your purchase history, and your subscription status on behalf of the publisher. This transfer outside Switzerland is carried out under appropriate contractual safeguards (standard contractual clauses). Purpose: purchase validation and restoration.
• The publisher's server (hosted by Infomaniak, in Switzerland) maintains a usage counter — number of cloud requests used in the month, top-up balance — linked to this identifier. This counter does not contain the content of your requests.
• Payments are processed by Apple. The publisher never has access to your banking details.

5. What Majevor never does

• It never sends any email, any SMS, or makes any call without your approval.
• No logging into an account on your behalf.
• No ad trackers, no tracking cookies, no analytics tools, no resale of data, no third-party ad networks.
• No advertising profiles, no automated decisions producing legal effects concerning you.

6. Permissions requested and why

Each permission is requested when needed; you can decline, the app keeps working without it.

• Microphone / Speech recognition — to dictate your requests.
• Calendar — to read and create your appointments.
• Contacts — to create or find a contact, to use a contact's address for an appointment.
• Notifications — for reminders and alarms.
• Photos / Camera — to attach a photo to a note.
• Location — to find your car or a place, if you allow it.

7. Legal basis and retention period

• Contract performance — management of purchases, quota, and subscription.
• Consent — activation of cloud mode (opt-in, revocable at any time in settings).
• Retention — local data stays on your device as long as you don't delete it. The usage counter and purchase data are retained as long as necessary to manage your access, then deleted or anonymized.

8. Recipients and subprocessors

• Apple (Ireland / international) — app distribution and payments.
• RevenueCat, Inc. (United States) — technical management of purchases; transfer outside Switzerland under standard contractual clauses.
• Infomaniak (Switzerland) — server hosting: cloud mode and quota counter.

No other recipients. No data is sold or rented.

9. Security

Your local data is stored within the app; the vault is encrypted in the Secure Enclave. Communications with the server are encrypted (TLS) and protected by an application key. Access to the cloud service is rate-limited (quota and call control).

10. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, delete, and object to the processing of your data, in accordance with the nFADP (new Federal Act on Data Protection). You can erase everything at any time from the app (Settings → Delete my data). Since most of your data stays on your device, there is generally nothing to request from the server side.

11. Changes

This policy may be updated. The applicable version is the one dated at the top of this page, published at majevor.sevy-creations.net/privacy. Any substantial change will be announced in the app.
